Who we are
This website is operated by Fuel EV Guardian. For any privacy question or request, email info@fuelevguardian.co.uk.
What we do not collect
The site has no accounts, sign-in, contact forms or comments, and we do not ask you to enter personal details.
Information processed when you visit
Website hosting
The site is built and hosted using the Lovable platform. When your browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure necessarily receives technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser and device type. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. The platform also provides us with aggregated visitor statistics. We do not control how long the hosting provider keeps this information; it is set by the provider.
Legal basis: legitimate interests in running a secure, working website.
Google Analytics (optional, only with your consent)
If you click Accept on our cookie message, we load Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use this only to understand how the site is used and improve it. If you click Reject, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded.
Legal basis: your consent. You can change your choice at any time using (also in the site footer). Withdrawing consent stops future collection; it does not affect data already collected.
Analytics data is retained according to the data retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
Your cookie choice
We store your Accept or Reject choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every page. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
If you email us
We receive your email address, name if included, and what you write. We use it to reply and, for corrections, to check and update our content. Legal basis: legitimate interests in responding to you. We keep emails only for as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up.
Who receives information
- Our hosting platform provider (Lovable) and its infrastructure providers, to deliver the site.
- Google, only if you accept Google Analytics.
- Our email service provider, if you email us.
We do not sell personal information. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access your personal information, and to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability where applicable. Complaints
